About the Ranch
Transatlanticism Ranch was established in early 2008, originally under the name "Stop the Rain Ranch." Currently over 800 horses reside here of all makes, types, and scales. My biggest love will always be for original finish Breyer model horses, but some Peter Stones, artist resins, chinas, rubber models and customs also call Transatlanticism Ranch home.
Admittedly, my collection is quite unfocused - I'm very much a "buy what you like" collector. The closest thing I have to a focus is my Breyer Othello conga, which currently numbers at 22. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the collection I've amassed over the years.
My place in the hobby mainly lies in collecting and showing, along with striving for realistic model horse photography. My models have collected ribbons at the local, regional, and national level, and a handful also have international achievements.

About Me
I'm Jocelyn - I often go by my first name or some variation of my stable name on model horse-related websites. I'm a 23 year old Massachusetts native and show models in Region 10.
I've been collecting model horses since I received my first Breyers, Sucesion and Le Fire, in 2003 when I was 8 years old. Both of those two are still in surprisingly good condition after all they've been through. I collected models for a couple of years, amassing about 50 horses or so. I then took a hiatus (blame the Webkinz craze!), and I didn't pay too much attention to my models for years. Then in March 2008, my interest sparked again for some reason and I dove head-first into the hobby.
Aside from the hobby, I participated horseback riding for four and a half years, although I am currently taking a break due to school and work taking up most of my time. My most recent lease, an OTT Standardbred gelding, is pictured at the left. When I'm not playing with plastic ponies, I'm scouring record shops to add to my huge music collection of varying formats and attending as many concerts as I can get myself to!
